Volunteers are vital at Common Weal; we can’t turn the world from “it’s me first” to “All of us First” all by ourselves. In order to improve our policy work and reach as wide an audience as possible, we need help from enthusiastic volunteers with a desire to change what they see around them.

If you think you could volunteer your time- regardless of how much or little- there are plenty of ways that you could help to create an All of us First world.

No matter what you experience or interests there are volunteering roles for everyone. That could be anything from helping at an event or stall, proofreading one of Common Weal’s new books, or letter writing to MSPs. The roles change depending on our current projects. Whatever it is you would like to help out with you’ll be given the freedom to find out what suits you and will never be pressured into doing or thinking something you’re not comfortable with.

We’ve had a number of people volunteer with us, have a look at what they’ve had to say about their experience.

We advertise volunteer roles as they emerge. To find out more, and begin a conversation with us complete the short form below.

If you have any questions or would like to discuss a volunteering role please get in contact with our Networks at Hello @common.scot
