Our Scarves are completely hand-made and hand printed.
These gorgeous scarves will keep you cozy as they loop around your neck a few times or if you prefer, you can just let them hang long at both ends. They feature our Common Weal logo hand-printed in white. The organic t-shirt jersey material is light enough for Spring and Summer months as a fashion accessory, but if wound a few times a bit more snuggly, it will guard you from the chill in cold winter days. Every aspect of the creation of this scarf makes us happy. They are made from 100 % GOTS certified organic cotton jersey, sourced from Welsh family-owned The Organic Textile Company who besides making beautiful sustainable fabrics run a charity called “Loom” in support of weavers in Kerala, India and who work directly with the families who weave their fabrics to ensure fair pay and support to their small cooperative businesses. Once we sourced the fabric, we had it cut into our lovely 2.3m super long scarves and hand-printed by lovely independent crafters and artists right here in Scotland.
