Common Weal Cotton Snoods
The lovely folk at Natural Wraps Ltd (they also made our pet bandanas) make the softest and comfiest lightweight snoods and we've come together to offer you two vibrant colour options to pick from. We have chosen to keep our logo discretely at the bottom so that the choice to display it lies with you.
These snoods don't only just look good they feel good too thanks to being made with organic cotton knit jersey (95% cotton (100% organic) + 5% lycra). This makes them soft to the touch while also keeping you safe and warm this winter.
Though light-weight, our snoods are perfect for protecting your neck and face against the chilly winter wind when you are out and about and prefer something a bit more breathable and less flappy than a bulky scarf. At approximately 36cm length they have great coverage so that no sneaky drafts catch you off-guard! And although these are not designed as specific COVID safety face coverings, when used folded over, they do prevent droplet dispersion at a similar level as regular disposable face masks. They are so soft and light that they are easy to fold and carry in a jacket pocket but unlike masks, they do not use elastic strings which can eventually lead to terrible situations for wildlife if not disposed of or recycled properly. Whether you choose to use them only around your neck, over your nose and mouth, or even to hold your hair back, you can be sure you will look fantastic!
They are hand-made and printed in the beautiful Ayrshire coast using the finest quality materials with full traceability. Although we were unable to offer a 100 % cotton item, due to world-wide shortages, the mix does allow for a bit of extra stretchiness, which is preferred in this sort of accessory. They are certified STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®, which means they are 100% free of harmful substances, toxins or heavy metals to you or our environment. They are machine washable up to 60℃, finished with sturdy hem double stitching and really made to last so that 5% lycra in them is compensated by its potential durability.
